How plans work

Scheduled cleans at the interval your property actually needs

A recurring gutter cleaning plan is scheduled maintenance at a fixed interval, every 3, 6, 12 or 24 months depending on your trees and roof. Instead of waiting until something overflows, we clean before the buildup causes problems, and you never have to remember to book.

The interval isn’t guesswork. We clean once, see how fast your gutters actually fill, and recommend a frequency that fits your property. Heavy overhanging gums might mean every 3 months. An open block might only need a visit every couple of years. Either way, the plan matches the property, not a sales target.

Every visit includes:

Suitability checklist

Is a plan right for you?

If your gutters are currently packed, overgrown or overflowing, start with a Gutter Deep Clean. We’ll reset the system first, then put you on the right plan to keep it that way.

A recurring plan makes sense if:

The maths of maintenance

Why regular beats rescue

Every stage of gutter neglect costs more than the one before it. A maintained gutter needs a straightforward clean. A neglected one needs a deep clean. A gutter left for years rusts from the inside and needs replacing, and by then water has often found its way into fascias, eaves and ceilings, which is roofing repair territory.

A plan keeps you permanently at the cheap end of that sequence. It also means the same team sees your roof edge at every visit, so anything starting to go wrong gets flagged in photos while it’s still a small fix.

How it works

Straight answers

The questions we get asked about plans.

No sales spin. Here’s how we’d answer them on the phone.

Every 3, 6, 12 or 24 months, depending on your property. The biggest factor is tree cover: gutters under heavy overhanging gums can refill within a season, while an open block with little leaf fall can comfortably go a year or two between cleans. We don’t guess the interval up front. We do the first clean, see how much came out and how quickly it built up, then recommend a frequency that fits. Most leafy Sydney homes land at every 6 months, with the heaviest tree cover at every 3.

Yes, any time. If a big tree comes down, you move house, or you simply want to stretch the interval out, tell us and we’ll adjust the schedule. There’s no lock in contract holding you to a frequency that no longer fits. We’d rather your plan match your property than have you paying for cleans you don’t need, and if we notice at a visit that your gutters are consistently arriving cleaner than expected, we’ll suggest stretching the interval ourselves.

Over the life of your gutters, significantly. Regular maintenance keeps you out of deep clean territory, and it’s the difference between a routine clean and eventually replacing rusted gutters or repairing water damage to fascias and eaves. Planned visits are also easier for us to schedule efficiently, and we price plans with that in mind. We’ll confirm your exact plan price with your quote, based on your property’s size, access and recommended interval.

Every plan visit is a full regular clean, not a quick once over. That means the complete gutter line cleared by hand, downpipes checked and cleared, a gutter health check along the roof edge, before and after photos sent to you, and all waste taken away and disposed of legally. If we spot anything developing, rust, sagging brackets, loose pointing near the gutter line, it goes in your report with a photo and an honest read on whether it needs attention.

Usually not. As long as we have safe access to the property and you’ve let us know about anything relevant, dogs, gates, access codes, we can complete the visit while you’re at work and send the photos and report the same day. That’s a big part of why investment property owners use plans: the gutters stay maintained, the records stay complete, and nobody has to coordinate a site visit twice a year.

Yes, but we’ll start with a deep clean rather than a plan visit. Years of packed silt, moss and plants need a full restorative clean before a maintenance schedule makes sense. Once the system is reset and flowing, your plan keeps it that way, and you’ll never need to pay deep clean money again. The quote form asks a few quick questions and works out the right starting point for you.
